Adaptronic test system
The Adaptronic s1280e ECU is the first ECU in the world that is freely programmable for diesel and direct injection petrol engines with common rail or pump units / pump injectors.
The Diesel Test is the ideal tool for engine overhaul companies and dismantling companies for the testing of modern diesel engines.
This test case is also the ideal tool for R & D and training applications due to the open structure of the FPGA ECU.
The Adaptronic s1280e test case variant is specially designed for diesel engines where the engine management system is not present on the engine or the engine can not be started due to the lack of data communication unit.
This means in practice that it is difficult, or impossible, to have this test run after the engine has been overhauled without the engine being installed in the vehicle or machine.
Adaptronic test kits kit consists of:
Robust plastic case.
Extension cable 100 to 240V 50 / 50Hz with plug.
Handheld with exstention lead.
Optionally a laptop with software can be delivered.
With the Adaptronic test system it´s possible to test quickly and efficiently with engines and if necessary to load test to show that all parameters such as power, pressures and temperatures are in order.
Also for dismantling companies, the Adaptronic test case is an ideal tool for testing engines that have been disassembled from trucks and machines. Often the condition of the engines is unknown and by using the Adaptronic test system you can run the engine within a few minutes.
Adaptronic test cases is a very compact unit.
The Adaptronic test system is equipped with a powerful 100V to 230V 50 / 60Hz power supply that provides the voltage for the test system.
On the side of the suitcase there are robust industrial plugs for the handheld and the connection for the wiring that goes to the engine.
By means of the handheld it is possible to carry the operation of the test system outside the test cell, also because of the compact design of the handheld you can walk around the engine for inpscetion. Optionally, an extension cable for the handheld can also be supplied.
To start the engine, only a set of starter batteries and cables are required.
The operating the test system is very easy. On the handheld or remote control there are two pushbuttons to turn the system, on and off and a rotary knob to control the speed / power.
There are also four LED lights on the handheld for status indication and a simple fault analysis.
Engine configuration and fault finding: By means of a laptop or PC it is easy to configure the Adaptronic test case via a USB cable for the type of engine that one wants to test.
It is also possible to look for advanced malfunctions of the engine's fuel injection system, for example by switching off a cylinder.
Also disturbances to timing signal or sensors are easy to detect by using the oscilloscope function in the program.
The Adaptronic test system are capable of testing the latest generation of diesel engines.
Due to the large number of injector outputs it is possible to run motors up to 20 cylinders.
Also the latest generation of engines with the stage stage fuel injection with a Delphi engine management system are included in our range, such as the DAF MX Paccar engine and the latest generation of Volvo engines.
